The device will debut as the RedMagic Tablet 5 Pro in China before likely adopting the Astra 2 name for international markets, following the company's established rebranding pattern.

According to prolific leaker Digital Chat Station, the tablet features a 9-inch OLED display running at 185Hz refresh rate, powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Additional specifications reportedly include liquid cooling technology, RGB lighting effects, and a transparent design aesthetic that aligns with RedMagic's gaming-focused brand identity.
