Samsung has enhanced the Privacy Display feature on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with the fourth One UI 9 beta release. This feature, which obscures screen content when viewed from an angle, now supports picture-in-picture (PiP) video playback.

When Privacy Display is enabled for specific apps like YouTube, only the PiP window becomes obscured while the rest of the screen remains visible at off-angles. Tipster Ice Universe demonstrated this functionality in a video shared on July 21, 2026.

According to Samsung Community forums, the PiP Privacy Display continues working when moving the window across the screen and avoids covering system elements like Edge Panel. Users must enable Privacy Display per app rather than for the entire screen for PiP compatibility.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 5G is currently priced from €934 for the 256GB model and €1,049 for the 512GB variant, both with 12GB RAM.
