The Motorola Signature has seen a last-minute price increase in Finland, jumping from €1,000 to €1,300 just ahead of its launch. Motorola confirmed the change to SuomiMobiili but gave no explanation for the €300 hike.

The phone still carries a €1,000 price tag in most EU markets, with Italy listing it at €1,100. The Finnish listing also includes free Moto Watch and Moto Buds Loop valued at €228, though that doesn’t justify the increase.

Consumers in Nordic countries were expecting a February 17 release, but the pricing confusion may dampen early adoption. Buyers elsewhere in Europe can still find the device at its original price, including through some third-party retailers in Finland.
