Motorola Razr 70 Ultra review: premium foldable with wood trim

Motorola finally placed the Razr 70 Ultra, also sold as the Razr Ultra 2026 in North America, in reviewers’ hands overall. Physically it mirrors the Razr 60 Ultra, sharing a 7.0‑inch 165 Hz main display, a 4.0‑inch cover screen and the aging Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Battery capacity rises to 5,000 mAh, and the panel peaks at a few more nits than its predecessor.

Compared with the standard Razr 70, the Ultra swaps the 6.9‑inch internal and 3.6‑inch external panels for the larger screens and upgrades the MediaTek Dimensity 7450 X to the same Snapdragon platform. Camera optics improve on wide‑angle and selfie lenses, while the ultrawide shrinks on paper. A wood‑trim finish gives the handset a markedly premium hand feel substantially against glossy glass rivals.

In Europe the Razr 70 Ultra retails for €1,360, offered only in a 16 GB RAM/512 GB storage configuration. The box omits a charger but includes a USB‑C cable and a soft‑touch case with an integrated handle. The device’s large foldable display and distinctive material choice position it as a niche premium option rather than a mainstream competitor. Its price targets design‑focused buyers clearly.
