LG Corp. Chairman and CEO Kwang Mo Koo met with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to ink an MOU expanding their AI capabilities. A key announcement is LG's plan to launch a humanoid robot in Q1 2027, powered by Nvidia's Jetson Thor compute and Isaac GR00T foundation model.

LG will also deploy its CLOi D wheeled robot on a washing machine manufacturing line in Tennessee this year for testing and improvement, with plans for global rollout. The company is establishing a reference AI data center by H1 2027 based on Nvidia's Vera Rubin, followed by an "LG AI Factory" in Cheonan by H1 2028, boasting 80 MW of compute power for training AI models.

Furthermore, LG will develop next-generation AI-defined vehicles using Nvidia's Drive Hyperion, integrating these capabilities into LG infotainment systems for global OEMs. This collaboration aims to accelerate advancements in robots, AI factories, and autonomous vehicles, leveraging LG's product engineering expertise with Nvidia's technology.
