NVIDIA and LG Group have teamed up to build an AI factory that will push LG’s next wave of AI‑driven businesses. The joint effort fuses NVIDIA’s full‑stack AI platform with LG’s leadership in consumer electronics, robotics, mobility, smart spaces and data centers. Together they aim to create a unified workflow for physical AI systems.

The factory will supply LG with accelerated computing infrastructure for training, simulating, validating and deploying AI applications across key sectors. By linking model development, data generation, robot simulation, edge deployment and factory‑scale digital twins, the collaboration promises faster iteration cycles and tighter integration between software and hardware components in the industry worldwide for advanced automation.

LG Electronics will use NVIDIA’s Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab frameworks to train home cobots like CLoiD in virtual environments before real‑world deployment. The partnership also explores NVIDIA’s Isaac GR00T reasoning model to give robots humanlike decision‑making. Together they will create reference robots that slot into the Isaac ecosystem, expanding domestic and industrial robotics use.

Beyond robotics, LG’s subsidiaries will build scalable, power‑efficient AI factories on NVIDIA DSX, integrating cooling solutions, prefab modular designs and high‑voltage power systems. LG Uplus plans a large‑scale data center with NVIDIA GPUs, while LG Energy Solution targets 800V DC power for next‑generation GPUs. This infrastructure underpins LG’s autonomous driving, data center and AI cloud ambitions.
