Honor Magic8 RSR Porsche Design Unveiled in China

Honor has officially launched the Magic8 RSR Porsche Design in China, joining the recently announced Magic8 Pro Air. This expands the Magic8 lineup, which debuted last October. The phone features a distinctive Porsche-inspired design with a nano-ceramic rear panel claimed to have a Mohs hardness of 8.5, and it's 10% lighter than its predecessor.

Under the hood, the device packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Its 6.71-inch quad-curved LTPO AMOLED display offers a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak HDR brightness of 6,000 nits. The camera system is led by a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.7x optical zoom.

The phone includes a 7,200mAh battery with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. It also boasts an IP69K rating, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and runs Android 16-based Magic UI 10.0. Pricing starts at CNY 7,999 ($1,150) for the 16GB/512GB model, with a 24GB/1TB variant available for CNY 8,999 ($1,290).
