Google Pixel 11a Specs Leak – Tensor G6, 2nm Chip

A fairly reputable leakster has dropped alleged specs for Google's new "a-series" device, and if true, it might just be the best one to come out in years.

There is at least one big surprise in there that we frankly didn't expect – the chipset. When Google dropped the Pixel 10a in March 2026, one of the biggest complaints most prospective buyers had was the chipset. Google decided to stick with last year's Tensor G4 chipset, which made the 10a a bit too similar to the Pixel 9a. If these new rumors are true, the Pixel 11a might actually come packing the latest and greatest Tensor G6 chipset, and it looks pretty impressive – it could be the first official 2nm chip to hit the market.

The device apparently has the "Formosan" internal codename. It is expected to pack a 6.30 inch, 1080p display with a peak max brightness of 2,250 nits and a peak of 3,350, plus official HDR support. The Pixel 11a will probably stick to 8GB of RAM as a base, and the phone's alleged "minimum battery capacity" is 4,870 mAh.

Rumors also claim that the Pixel 11a will use the same Titan M3 security chip as the rest of the Pixel 11 family, and a new front camera codename "dokkaebi" may appear. Suggested color options include black, green, purple, and silver, with a launch around March 2027.
