Apple will open Europe's first Developer Center in Berlin later this year, expanding its global network of developer support facilities. The center, located in the city's Mitte district, joins existing locations in Bengaluru, Cupertino, Shanghai, and Singapore. Apple designed it to serve European developers with hands-on access to Apple experts and resources.

The Berlin facility will provide in-person sessions, workshops, and one-on-one appointments covering iOS, iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS development. All sessions will be available in multiple languages, with dedicated labs and consultation areas staffed by Apple specialists. These programs aim to help developers improve app design, quality, and performance across all stages of development.

Apple's announcement highlights Europe's importance to its ecosystem, noting that European storefronts reached over 150 million average weekly users in 2025. The company also pointed to its existing European investments, including the Swift Student Challenge and 19 Apple Developer Academies worldwide.

European developers can leverage more than 250,000 APIs across frameworks like HealthKit, Metal, Core ML, and SwiftUI. The center represents Apple's push to strengthen developer relationships in a key market while promoting local app development through direct engagement and reduced commission rates via the App Store Small Business Program.
