Apple is making a major push at GDC 2026 with three focused sessions on March 11. The company will host events in room 3014 of the West Hall at San Francisco's Moscone Center, covering hardware optimization, porting flagship titles, and App Store strategies. This coordinated effort signals Apple's growing commitment to the gaming ecosystem.

Two sessions focus on technical development, with the first running from 10:10 am to 11:10 am. Developers will learn how to leverage Apple's unified architecture across platforms including Vision OS. The second session at 11:30 am features CD Projekt Red developers sharing how they brought Cyberpunk 2077 to Mac using Apple's tools. Both technical sessions fall under Game Production Technology and Production tracks.

The final session at 12:45 pm shifts to marketing, featuring Apple executives and Black Salt Games' Nadia Thorne. They'll discuss App Store best practices, with Thorne sharing insights from bringing the Apple Design Award-winning game Dredge to Apple platforms. This three-pronged approach shows Apple targeting developers at every stage from technical implementation to market success.
