This year's event marks the first showcase under new Xbox leader Asha Sharma and will be followed by a dedicated *Gears of War: E-Day* Direct, offering an extended look at the franchise's origin story.

The showcase will stream in over 40 languages, including American and British Sign Language, with English audio descriptions available. Fans can watch on Xbox's YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook channels. Microsoft is also bringing back Xbox FanFest for the brand's 25th anniversary, with an in-person event planned in Los Angeles during Summer Game Fest.

Beyond the Gears spotlight, attendees can expect updates on highly anticipated titles like *Fable* (slated for fall release), *Minecraft Dungeons 2*, and *Halo: Campaign Evolved*. Microsoft's lineup also includes *Clockwork Revolution*, *State of Decay 3*, Hideo Kojima's *OD*, and a mystery project from Toys for Bob, making this potentially the most packed showcase in recent memory.
