Microsoft has officially set the date for its next major Xbox Summer Games showcase: June 7, 2026. The event will kick off at 10 AM Pacific Time (14:00 UTC) and will be immediately followed by a dedicated Gears of War: E-Day showcase. While the full lineup for the June 7 showcase remains undisclosed, the Gears of War event is expected to feature at least a new trailer and potentially a release date for the long-awaited shooter.

This follows the 2024 showcase where Gears of War: E-Day was first revealed, a prequel set 14 years before the original game, built on Unreal Engine 5.
