Ubisoft is finally launching The Division Resurgence on March 31 for iOS and Android after years of delays. First announced in 2021, this free-to-play mobile game is set in The Division universe during the early pandemic days in NYC. The game serves as both a sequel to the first title and a prequel to the second, featuring an MMO-style shared open world with co-op and solo gameplay.

This third-person action RPG includes PvP combat and loot collection mechanics similar to the mainline games. Players can pre-register now on the iOS Store and Google Play Store. Ubisoft is offering special perks to franchise veterans, including gear and clothing for The Division 2 players who try the mobile game, plus Resurgence-themed equipment for those who return to the console version.

The March 31 launch is part of a 10th anniversary celebration for The Division franchise. Ubisoft also announced an anniversary-themed season for The Division 2 with global events inspired by the original game, plus a free Warlords of New York expansion during this period. The company is discounting both The Division 1 and The Division 2 up to 90 percent on PC and 85 percent on consoles.
