Bethesda's *Starfield* is finally coming to PS5 on April 7, ending its Xbox exclusivity. Preorders are now open for both digital and physical versions, with a standard edition priced at $50 and a premium edition at $70. The PS5 version will leverage the DualSense controller's adaptive triggers and light bar for immersive gameplay.

This move follows a trend of former Xbox exclusives going multiplatform, including *Avowed*, *Forza Horizon 5*, and even an upcoming *Halo* game. The PS5 version offers unique features like touchpad navigation for maps and weapon switching. Players can upgrade from the base game to premium for $25 to access DLC content.

Alongside the PS5 launch, Bethesda is releasing the *Terran Armada* DLC and a major free update called Free Lanes on April 7. The update overhauls space travel with cruise mode, adds X-Tech customization, and introduces new quality tiers for gear. The DLC includes a new story questline, Incursion battles, and a Terran robot companion for $10.
