SpaceX's Crew-12 mission launched at 5:15 AM Eastern on February 13 from Cape Canaveral, with the Dragon capsule scheduled to dock at the ISS today at 3:15 PM. The four-person crew—NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, ESA's Sophie Adenot, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev—will complete their 34-hour journey after liftoff.

This mission follows Crew-11's early return to Earth a month ahead of schedule after NASA decided to bring the crew home due to a medical issue ISS instruments couldn't diagnose. Despite the crew member's stable condition, the agency prioritized caution by terminating the mission prematurely, leaving three astronauts on board.

For the next eight months, Crew-12 will conduct scientific experiments studying how pneumonia bacteria affect heart health and how physical characteristics influence blood flow during spaceflight. These investigations aim to advance technologies for future missions to the moon and Mars, with NASA's live coverage beginning at 1:15 PM for the historic docking event.
