Sennheiser has announced the Momentum True Wireless 5 earbuds, featuring user-replaceable batteries for both the earbuds and charging case. The battery replacement process takes mere minutes using just a compact screwdriver. Battery life reaches 12 hours per charge, with 40 hours total including the case. Quick charge provides an extra hour of playback with just eight minutes of charging.

The new design is slimmer than the previous generation, offering a "barely there" fit preferred by 73 percent of testers. The charging case has a narrower, more pocket-friendly form factor. Voice calls benefit from an AI speech enhancement algorithm, while the refreshed ANC system includes a new ear tip and four-microphone array.

Audio performance utilizes Sennheiser's 7mm True Response transducer with Bluetooth 6.0, supporting 24-bit/96kHz music. A free app offers 8-band EQ adjustments, and spatial audio is enabled through head-tracking accelerometers. The earbuds launch on September 3 in five colorways at $300.
