Samsung rolls out its newest budget A‑series phone, the Galaxy A27 5G, targeting casual users who want 5G without a flagship price tag. The device keeps a 6.7‑inch Super AMOLED panel but replaces the notch with a hole‑punched camera cutout, giving a cleaner look and more uninterrupted screen space for daily consumption and entertainment sessions.

Under the hood, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset powers the A27, giving a smoother experience than the last model’s processor. Memory stays at 6 GB, storage at 128 GB expandable to 2 TB, and a 5,000‑mAh battery with 25‑W fast charging remains unchanged from the A26. The device also offers a triple‑lens rear array, including a 50‑MP wide sensor, a 5‑MP ultra‑wide lens, and a 2‑MP macro unit.

Price jumps to $350$50 more than the A26—while launch dates stagger: U.S. sees it on July 14 and other markets on July 3. Samsung backs the handset with six years of security patches and up to six Android upgrades, and introduces AI tools like Gemini and Perplexity for voice and image tasks.

With a modest chipset lift, a cleaner display, and a $50 price bump, the A27 stays a viable low‑end option for 5G users who prioritize screen real estate and software longevity over flagship performance. The device also supports AI assistants like Gemini, providing contextual suggestions during navigation, while its 25‑W charging keeps downtime minimal for commuters and students alike.
