Samsung has officially set February 25 as the date for its first Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026 in San Francisco. Following a 2025 year that introduced new foldables and ultra-thin phones, the company will reportedly unveil the Galaxy S26 series with minimal design changes but significant internal upgrades.

The flagship phones will feature the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, with the S26 reportedly sporting a slightly larger 6.3-inch display and 4,300mAh battery. Samsung may also announce the Galaxy Buds 4 with head gesture support and the ultra-thin S26 Edge at just 5.5mm thick.

The event will likely showcase Samsung's AI strategy, including a new Bixby assistant and potential Perplexity integration. While the Galaxy Z TriFold launched late last year for $2,900 may receive limited attention, the S26 Ultra could switch back to an aluminum frame and improve its S Pen implementation.
