Samsung Galaxy Glasses Leak Reveals Two Models Targeting Meta Ray-Ban

Samsung is finally getting serious about smart glasses with two models codenamed Jinju and Haean. The entry-level Jinju targets users who want AI assistance without a screen, while Haean offers full AR with a micro-LED display. Leaked renders from @OnLeaks and Android Headlines give us the clearest picture yet of Samsung's XR ambitions.

Jinju weighs just 50 grams and packs a 12MP Sony camera with autofocus - a step up from the fixed-focus lenses in most smart glasses today. Samsung aims to price it between $379 and $499, directly challenging Meta's premium Ray-Bans. The 245mAh battery should deliver 6-8 hours of use. Haean arrives in 2027 with AR overlays and a higher price tag of $600-$900.

The bigger challenge isn't whether Samsung can build decent smart glasses - these renders suggest it can. It's convincing users to switch from what they already wear, or wait another year for the version with a useful display. Offering two models lets Samsung test what actually sticks with consumers, but it also risks one feeling unfinished.
