Samsung has officially announced its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event for February 25 in San Francisco, where the company is expected to unveil the Galaxy S26 lineup alongside new AI features and accessories. The event will start at 10AM PT and be livestreamed on Samsung.com and YouTube. Samsung teased this launch as marking "a new phase in the era of AI" with intelligence becoming "truly personal and adaptive."

The Galaxy S26 series will likely continue Samsung's restrained design approach, with leaked images showing flat front screens, rounded corners, and vertical pill-shaped camera plateaus similar to the S25. All models are expected to feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, with some regions possibly getting the Exynos 2600. The S26 Ultra may switch back to aluminum frames and adopt a new stylus input method to support Qi2 wireless charging without the S Pen digitizer layer.

Beyond smartphones, Samsung is rumored to introduce the Galaxy Buds 4 with a more compact case, less angular stems, and support for head gestures. The company may also showcase expanded AI photography tools that can transform day photos to night, restore missing image parts, and merge multiple photos. While the Galaxy Z Trifold launched in January at $2,900, it's unlikely to be a major focus given its recent debut.
