Samsung has launched the Freestyle+ projector, now available for $1,200 on its website and select retailers.

Compared to the second‑generation Freestyle, which sold for $800 on Amazon, the new model adds several key improvements. Its 3D Auto Keystone can flatten images projected on irregular surfaces—corners, curtains with fold marks, even the side of a tent—making it easy to use on any surface in your home or outdoors.

Wall Calibration detects the color of the projection surface and adjusts the image’s color and brightness, guaranteeing clear viewing even on patterned wallpaper or colored walls. The projector supports 1080p resolution and HDR10+, and it can automatically focus by detecting its distance to the screen.

Built‑in speakers with dual passive woofers deliver 360‑degree audio, and it streams directly from Galaxy devices or via AirPlay from Apple devices. It also offers Samsung TV Plus channels and game streaming from Samsung’s Gaming Hub. While it needs to be plugged in during use, an external USB‑C battery lets you use it outdoors, such as during camping trips. Overall, Freestyle+ offers a powerful, portable projection solution for home entertainment and on‑the‑go use, blending high‑quality visuals with flexible placement and smart calibration.
