Nintendo has finally launched its 2025 year in review feature for Switch and Switch 2 users. Available mid-January, this feature provides a detailed breakdown of gaming habits, including playtime, most-played titles, and preferred genres. Users can sign in at the year-in-review.nintendo.com to access their personal gaming statistics. This tool also allows users to download a shareable image showcasing their gaming preferences, though direct social media sharing is not supported.

The 2025 review arrives after a significant year for Nintendo, marked by the launch of the Switch 2 in early June. Despite the excitement around the new console, the review does not distinguish between games played on the original Switch and the Switch 2. This oversight may leave some users wanting more granular data.

Nintendo is not the only gaming giant to offer a year-in-review feature. Sony and Steam both released their recap features in December, but Sony's has since expired. Microsoft, however, chose to forgo a 2025 wrap-up, likely to reallocate marketing resources towards the 25th anniversary of Xbox and other significant events.
