Nintendo has expanded its Nintendo Music streaming service with a major update that adds web‑browser access and a dedicated tablet app. Users can now play the catalog on any internet‑connected device, from PCs to handhelds, using an interface mirroring the web experience. The rollout also brings support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, letting drivers stream Nintendo tracks behind the wheel.

New features include voice‑activated song search and a “vibe” playlist generator that tailors mixes to the driver’s surroundings. The revamped “My Mix” creates playlists from listening history, while users can now share custom playlists with friends. It also displays genre tags and album art for easier discovery. Additionally, the library can be browsed without an active NSO subscription, though missing titles will be added over time.

Nintendo Music remains free but still requires a $20 yearly Nintendo Switch Online subscription for full access. Prospective listeners can test the service with a seven‑day free trial before committing. By tying the music catalog to its online platform, Nintendo strengthens the value proposition of its subscription ecosystem and gives fans another reason to stay connected.
