Moss VR Games Bundle Brings Quill's Adventure to Consoles This Summer

Developer Polyarc is bringing the acclaimed VR platformer Moss and its sequel to traditional platforms with Moss: The Forgotten Relic. The bundle combines both games plus the Twilight Garden DLC into a single package for players who haven't experienced the mouse-themed adventure.

The transition requires significant reworking since the original VR format lets players control both protagonist Quill and act as a godlike overseer. VR headsets enable players to peer into every corner of the environment, a mechanic that doesn't directly translate to conventional screens. Console versions will feature a camera system following Quill's movements instead.

Moss: The Forgotten Relic includes new handcrafted cutscenes and accessibility options allowing players to skip challenging combat sections. This addresses a key pain point for puzzle-focused gamers who preferred exploring the story over difficult battles. The release targets PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and both Nintendo Switch models.

Polyarc hasn't announced pricing or an exact summer release date yet. This port represents an uncommon direction—VR games rarely make the jump to flat-screen formats, though major titles like Resident Evil and No Man's Sky have received VR adaptations in reverse.
