Apple's long-rumored iPhone Fold could arrive in fall 2026, according to multiple reports from supply-chain sources and analysts. While Apple hasn't confirmed the device, recent leaks suggest the company has settled on a book-style foldable design similar to Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold series. The device would feature an internal display around 7.7-7.8 inches and an outer screen in the 5.5-inch range.

Display technology appears to be a major focus, with reports indicating Apple will use Samsung's crease-less foldable OLED panel. This technology combines flexible OLED with a laser-drilled metal support plate to minimize visible creasing. The iPhone Fold is expected to use a four-camera setup including two rear cameras (48MP each), a punch-hole outer display camera, and a 24MP under-display camera. Apple reportedly plans to use Touch ID built into the power button rather than Face ID.

The device's construction may feature Liquidmetal alloy for the hinge, offering improved durability compared to titanium. Battery capacity could reach 5,000-5,800mAh, making it the largest iPhone battery ever. Price estimates range from $2,000 to $2,500, positioning it as Apple's most expensive iPhone. While many details remain unconfirmed, Apple appears to be taking its time to perfect the foldable experience before launch.
