The indie space delivered a packed week. Cyan Worlds finally brought Myst and its sequel Riven to PlayStation, launching on PS5 and PS VR2 alongside Xbox Series X/S and PC for $35 each. The PS5 Pro versions boast improved view distance, textures, and shading. These remakes close a gap after the games arrived on Meta Quest, PC, Xbox, and iOS over the past few years.

Fail Fail Succeed ($10) landed on Steam as a puzzle platformer where dying turns your character into blocks that help you reach your dog. Developer Martin Zetterman based it on his own mental health struggles, turning failure into literal progress. Meanwhile, Ferra caught attention as a kitsune-powered FPS from no-budget team EllipsisWorks, offering parkour, katanas, and a fox transformation. Bubsy 4D also dropped this week after 30 years away, with the bobcat rolling into ball form and climbing leaderboards.

Thick as Thieves ($5) pivoted from competitive heists to co-op stealth, featuring Thief and System Shock 2 veteran Paul Neurath alongside Deus Ex creator Warren Spector. Amanita Design's Phonopolis brings a hand-painted cardboard world to Steam for $25. Dark Scrolls got delayed to June 22 to avoid competing with Mina the Hollower, while Warhammer Survivors hit Steam with a mobile release incoming.
