Developers at House House, the studio behind Untitled Goose Game, revealed their latest project during a recent Nintendo Direct. Titled Big Walk, this cooperative experience launches on August 4 for PC, PlayStation 5, and the Switch 2. It blends environmental puzzles with social exploration in a large wilderness setting.

Players can group up in sessions of two to 12 players to trek toward distant landmarks. The game uses physical tools like walkie-talkies and megaphones to facilitate communication. Interestingly, the text chat mimics real-world physics, meaning messages become unreadable if players are too far apart or separated by soundproof glass.

Panic serves as the publisher for this title, which focuses on improvisational play rather than strict direction. Rather than following a rigid path, groups navigate woods to solve escape-room style challenges. This design prioritizes social interaction and curiosity over traditional gameplay loops. Big Walk arrives this summer.
