Google is significantly upgrading its $20 per month AI Pro plan with a major storage increase and new features. Subscribers will now receive 5TB of cloud storage, up from 2TB, at no additional cost. This expanded storage works across Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos, not just for AI features.

Beyond storage, the plan now includes enhanced Gemini capabilities that can pull context from Gmail and the web to assist with Drive, Docs, Slides, and Sheets. The AI can summarize Gmail inboxes, proofread emails before sending, and handle multi-step tasks like trip planning through Chrome's new auto-browse feature. Google VP Shimrit Ben-Yair highlighted these agentic capabilities on social media.

As an added bonus, Google is bundling its $10 per month Home Premium subscription into the AI Pro package. These upgrades are rolling out immediately to both new and existing subscribers, though some users may not see the changes instantly.
