Google is expanding its AI Mode in Search with new integrations for Canva, YouTube Music, and Instacart. This move aims to seamlessly incorporate AI assistance into daily tasks without requiring users to open the separate Gemini app.

Users can now leverage AI Mode to generate playlists on YouTube Music based on specified genres and moods. For Canva, AI can help design templates, such as party flyers, by incorporating calendar information. With Instacart, AI can add ingredients and grocery items to shopping carts, even suggesting items for events like BBQs based on calendar data.

These integrations are part of Google's broader effort to embed AI across its services. The company is also exploring partnerships for further app integrations. Google's Personal Intelligence feature, allowing Gemini to access information from other apps, was introduced earlier this year, enhancing AI Search capabilities with features like Reddit integration and a more dynamic search box.
