Denon has unveiled the DP-500BT turntable, addressing a major gap in its lineup by adding Bluetooth streaming to a premium design. Priced at $899, this model combines refined aesthetics with high-resolution wireless connectivity, targeting both beginners and experienced vinyl enthusiasts. The DP-500BT features a belt drive system, balanced S-shaped tonearm, and aluminum die-cast platter.

The turntable includes a pre-installed moving magnet cartridge with CN-6518 stylus and a built-in phono preamp that can be disabled for external equipment. Its semi-automatic operation combines auto lift with playback stop, protecting both stylus and records while simplifying use. Denon drew design inspiration from its $2,799 DP-3000NE model, giving the more affordable unit a sophisticated appearance.

Bluetooth streaming sets the DP-500BT apart from other Denon turntables, offering aptX, aptX HD, and apt Adaptive codecs for wireless audio to speakers or headphones. The turntable also integrates with Denon's HEOS ecosystem for multi-room audio.
