Deezer announced that AI-generated tracks now represent 44% of all new music uploaded to its platform, with nearly 75,000 AI tracks arriving daily. The company reported receiving over two million AI-generated tracks per month, marking a dramatic increase from just 10,000 per day in January 2025.

Despite the surge in uploads, AI music consumption remains minimal at only 1-3% of total streams. Deezer has successfully identified and demonetized 85% of fraudulent AI streams through its detection technology. The platform has been tagging AI tracks since June 2025 and has labeled more than 13.4 million AI tracks throughout the year.

Deezer's CEO Alexis Lanternier emphasized that AI music is no longer a marginal phenomenon and called for industry-wide action to protect artists' rights. The company has implemented proactive measures including removing AI tracks from algorithmic recommendations, excluding them from editorial playlists, and no longer storing hi-res versions. These efforts have reduced AI-related fraud and payment dilution to a minimum, according to Lanternier.
