ASUS has pulled back on a recent statement that its GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16 GB and RTX 5070 Ti were entering end‑of‑life. In a fresh press release the maker clarified that neither model is discontinued and that it has no plans to halt sales, contradicting earlier comments to the Hardware Unboxed channel.

ASUS blamed temporary production dips on memory‑supply constraints, noting that some markets may see reduced stock but not a full shutdown. The shortage has left retailers, especially in Australia, reporting the 5070 Ti as unavailable through Q1. Rising DRAM prices, driven by the AI boom, have amplified price pressure across the GPU market.

Gamers bracing for tighter inventory should monitor ASUS’s partnership updates and Nvidia’s broader production roadmap, as any prolonged gap could fuel further resentment. Analysts expect memory shortages to ease later in the year, but until then the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5070 Ti may remain hard to source, keeping resale premiums high.
