AppleCare One Family Plan: $50/Month for 6 Users

Apple has launched a new AppleCare One Family tier at its iPhone Duo and iPhone 18 event, priced at $50 per month. The plan covers all eligible devices for up to six family members, including most Apple products less than four years old. Devices linked to a member's Apple ID are automatically enrolled, and older devices can be added manually.

Unlike the individual AppleCare One (three devices) or basic AppleCare+ (one device), this family option extends coverage across the household. However, theft and loss claims are capped at six per year total — one per person if all six slots are filled — compared to three for individual AppleCare One and two for AppleCare+. The plan retains standard AppleCare+ benefits: no-cost battery replacement, accidental damage repairs, and screen/back glass fixes.

To subscribe, users must first enable Family Sharing in Settings, invite up to five members, then activate the plan via AppleCare & Warranty under General Settings.
