AppleCare One Expands to UK, France, Germany, Australia

AppleCare One expands to the UK, France, Germany, and Australia on August 4, 2026, a year after its US debut. Bob Borchers, Apple's vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing, stated the plan offers "trusted protection of AppleCare+ in a way that's simpler and more flexible than ever before — one plan, one price."

The $19.99 monthly plan (US pricing) covers up to three eligible devices with theft and loss protection for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, unlimited accidental damage repairs, free battery replacement, and priority support. Additional devices cost $5.99 each monthly. Uniquely, coverage extends to devices up to four years old in good condition.

AppleCare One benefits multi-device users most, particularly those with Vision Pro — covering it alone costs the same as the full plan. Single-device users should retain AppleCare+. Savings vary: insuring an iPhone 17 Pro Max, iPad Pro, and Mac Studio saves roughly $12.48 monthly versus individual plans.

Existing AppleCare subscribers can switch; Apple cancels old plans and replaces them. Full regional pricing publishes at launch. The US rollout faced device eligibility display issues, which may recur.
