Amazon has announced shipping details for its Ember Artline TVs, with pre-orders opening today and units set to arrive on April 22 in the US and Canada. The new 4K QLED television doubles as artwork when not in use, competing directly with Samsung's Frame TV. Amazon plans to expand availability to the UK and Germany following the initial launch.

The Ember Artline comes with over 2,000 pieces of free artwork across various styles. A standout feature is the AI-powered "Match the room" tool that analyzes your space and suggests artwork that complements your decor. The television also supports personal photos from Amazon Photos and comes in 10 different frame color options.

Priced starting at $900, the Ember Artline will be available in 55-inch and 65-inch models. This positions it as a more affordable alternative to Samsung's Frame TV, which costs $1,100 for the 65-inch version. Amazon is also expanding its Fire TV ecosystem with a new Stick HD model and content transfer capabilities between devices via Alexa commands.
