Nintendo's Switch 2 Pro Controller is an excellent gamepad, but at $90, it's expensive. The market is flush with less expensive but feature-packed wireless alternatives from Turtle Beach, Guli Kit and 8Bit Do. Ranging from $30 to $70, these offer special features like RGB lighting and TMR analog sticks.
The official Pro Controller remains the standard-setter with superb comfort, responsive controls, HD Rumble 2, motion controls, and Amiibo support. Its offset analog sticks glide smoothly with sound-dampening, and face buttons are bouncy. While it lacks Hall effect sticks, drift issues haven't been widespread.
The controller includes an NFC touchpoint, USB-C charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack, making it a stealthy, high-quality option.
