An unreleased device referenced in a beta suggested that there may be a new [Siri Remote](https://appleinsider.com/inside/siri-remote "Siri Remote") coming, but we're not expecting a huge shake-up.

Code found within the macOS Tahoe beta hints at upcoming Siri Remote

Monday's [macOS Tahoe](https://appleinsider.com/inside/macos-tahoe "macOS Tahoe") beta hinted at an upcoming Siri Remote, referenced as "ATVRemote1,5" in the code. This wouldn't be the [first time](https://appleinsider.com/articles/26/06/21/apples-home-automation-updates-new-product-releases-will-stretch-into-2028) that we've heard there's a new Siri Remote in the works, either; it's expected to launch alongside the new [Apple TV](https://appleinsider.com/inside/apple-tv "Apple TV").

That doesn't mean that the remote is going to get a major revamp. It could be as simple as a slight tweak to the design.
