Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD‑OLED Review – Color & Connectivity

The Dell UltraSharp 32 4K QD‑OLED (U3226Q) offers 31.5‑inch QD‑OLED panel, 4K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, all for a sale price of $2,439.99. It is positioned as a Studio Display XDR alternative for Mac users who value color accuracy over a Retina‑class pixel density.

While the design is a bland, matte dark finish that will look out of place on a polished Apple desk, the monitor’s strengths lie in its panel. The QD‑OLED delivers true blacks, 99 % DCI‑P3 coverage, and a peak HDR brightness of 1,000 nits. The anti‑glare coating keeps the image crisp in bright rooms, and the 140 ppi density gives a usable workspace for designers and videographers.

Connectivity is a major selling point. The monitor features a full hub with one upstream Thunderbolt 4 delivering 140 W to a MacBook Pro, a downstream Thunderbolt port for daisy‑chaining, two HDMI 2.1 inputs, a DisplayPort Children's, multiple USB‑C سکت, and a 2.5 GbE Ethernet port. A built‑in KVM switch allows a single keyboard and mouse to control two machines.

Compared to the Apple Studio Display XDR, the Dell’s larger screen and lower price are attractive, but it falls short on pixel density (140 ppi vs 218 ppi) and lacks a built‑in speaker. For users prioritizing color fidelity and a robust port hub, it is a compelling choice.
