### Siri AI Close to Useful, iPhone Duo A20 Pro Key

Apple's new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo use the A20 Pro chip, which could make Siri AI more capable. Siri AI has been in beta testing since its June WWDC debut and will remain a beta feature for the foreseeable future, though it will be available to the public before the end of September. Faster iPhones with the A20 Pro will likely perform better than older models.

The A20 Pro is the most capable chip ever in an iPhone, featuring six CPU cores, seven GPU cores, a 50% memory bandwidth boost over the A19 Pro, and double the AI processing power with two 16-core Neural Engines. These upgrades could allow more on-device processing for Siri AI, reducing latency and cloud dependency.

Siri AI is coming to all Apple platforms, including iPhone 15 Pro and newer, but the A20 Pro in the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo offers significant performance gains. The enhanced AI capabilities may enable snappier, low-latency responses for tasks like dictation and expressive voices.
