Rosenblatt raises AAPL target to $300

Securities firm Rosenblatt has increased its price target for Apple (AAPL) to $300, despite maintaining a generally bearish outlook. The firm cites potential short-term supply issues and challenges in matching the success of the iPhone 17 range as reasons for its cautious stance.

Rosenblatt's decision to raise the target by $24 reflects a focus on Apple's expected performance in a year's time. However, the modest increase is attributed to a volatile financial environment, including economic factors and Tim Cook's acknowledgments of supply constraints. The firm anticipates difficulties for the iPhone 18 due to the high benchmark set by the iPhone 17, potentially leading to slowed iPhone sales.

Further concerns include potential decreases in Apple's value due to European Union legislation. Despite these headwinds, Rosenblatt has kept a neutral rating, acknowledging that Apple Intelligence could drive unexpected sales growth. In contrast, JP Morgan trimmed its target to $340, though remains above water. Apple's stock experienced a dip after its latest earnings call, falling to $307.80.
