iPhone 18 Pro Price Hike Rumored: Up to $300 Increase

Analyst Jeff Pu predicts a significant price increase for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, potentially reaching $300 more than its predecessor. This follows recent price hikes across Apple's Mac and iPad lines in June 2025 due to rising RAM and storage costs.

While the iPhone lineup was previously unaffected, reports from July 2026 hinted at a 10% increase. Pu's estimate suggests the iPhone 18 Pro could start at $1,399 and the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $1,499. Pu attributes these potential hikes to increased component costs, including RAM, NAND storage, and the use of TSMC's 2nm manufacturing process for the A20-series chip.

Other analysts, like those at Counterpoint Research, also foresee price increases, with one suggesting an average of $200 more for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. Previous iPad price adjustments, such as a $100-$200 increase for iPad Pro models, support the possibility of substantial iPhone price bumps. Apple has reportedly sought to mitigate these rising costs by negotiating lower prices with display manufacturers.
