Apple TV has finally scheduled a release date for the delayed series 'The Savant', starring Jessica Chastain. The show was pulled from its original 2025 launch following the assassination of political activist Charlie Kirk, with Apple promising a later release. A year later, the series remains unreleased despite the Apple TV app page still showing a '2025' label.

According to Variety, Apple has now slated the series for a spring 2027 premiere, positioning it for Emmy contention with a May 31, 2027 deadline. Star Jessica Chastain previously criticized Apple's decision to postpone the show, stating she was 'not aligned' with the cancellation. Despite the delay, Chastain continues working with Apple on projects including 'The Dealer' with Adam Driver and 'The Off Weeks' with Ben Stiller.
