Apple's 50th anniversary celebrations spanned hemispheres as London's Apple Battersea hosted performances by Nia Archives and Mumford & Sons beneath projected company logos. The iconic Battersea Power Station building serves as both Apple's UK headquarters and anniversary venue, with a stage erected in front of the historic structure for the festivities.

Across the globe, the Sydney Opera House transformed into a digital canvas featuring iPad artwork as part of Apple's "Illuminating Creativity" project. The event showcased 17 artworks—six public submissions and 11 commissioned pieces—all created using the Procreate app on iPad, with the eastern Bennelong sails displaying the moving visuals.

The dual events follow celebrations worldwide as Apple marks its milestone year. Performances by artists like Nia Archives, described by Apple as a "dedicated Logic Pro user" who has remixed for artists including Jorja Smith and PinkPantheress, demonstrate Apple's connection to creative communities. Apple plans to conclude its year-long celebration at its California headquarters.
