Apple's $0.27 Dividend Follows Strongest June Quarter

Apple announced it will pay shareholders a quarterly cash dividend of $0.27 per share on August 13. This rate, introduced earlier in 2026, follows the company's strongest June quarter on record. Shareholders of record as of August 10 will receive the payment, which was approved by Apple's board alongside its fiscal third-quarter earnings.

This declaration maintains the 4% dividend increase from $0.26 to $0.27 per share that occurred in April. For example, an investor with 100 Apple shares will receive $27, and one with 1,000 shares will receive $270, before taxes.

The dividend announcement came after Apple reported $109.4 billion in quarterly revenue, a 16% increase year-over-year. Diluted earnings per share grew 29% to $2.02, with iPhone, Mac, and Services revenue all setting new June-quarter records. These results surpassed analyst expectations. Apple also noted a record installed base across all major product categories and geographic segments. While tariff refunds contributed to gross margin and earnings per share, Apple's revenue demonstrated robust double-digit growth even without them. Alongside dividends, Apple continues its substantial investment in share repurchases, with a $100 billion buyback program authorized in April.
