Apple rolls out full Liquid Glass design kit for developers

Apple has released a fresh batch of design resources that lay out every visual element of its updated Liquid Glass aesthetic. The library shows the new macOS Golden Gate look, complete with button styles, arrows, and dialog boxes, so developers can match the system’s polish. This timing helps developers stay ahead of the public release. iOS 27 rollout aligns with the kit.

Developers can inspect the revised app icons, including the layered effect demonstrated on the Apple Maps icon. Each icon appears in Default, Dark, and Light Clear variants, and the new red notification badge style is also detailed. Resources are currently available for Sketch, with prior Figma files expected to return later. The files also include vector assets for easy scaling across screen sizes.

The update does not yet cover visionOS 27, watchOS 27, or tvOS 27, leaving those platforms without native Liquid Glass assets. Beyond icons, the bundle includes Photoshop tools for parallax images, Apple Pay badges, hardware templates for every device, and over 7,000 SF Symbols and font files. Developers now have everything needed to align their UI with the latest OS look.
