Apple released Sketch files for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 Golden Gate, adding new App Icon Templates for Sigma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Sketch. The Design Resources portal now hosts UI Kit assets for the three OSes, complete with light and dark mode components—buttons, headers, lists, inputs, alerts, and every system app icon.

Although the icon shape remains unchanged from iOS 26 and iPadOS 26, the updated templates include new file formats and improved compatibility with Sketch and Figma. Apple still offers older UI Kit assets for iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, tvOS 18, watchOS 26, visionOS 26, and visionOS 2, keeping legacy projects supported. This breadth allows developers to transition projects smoothly while adopting the latest UI standards without abandoning existing codebases.

Apple’s Design Resources portal also hosts templates for AirPlay, App Clips, Camera Control, Siri Icons, SF Symbols 7, and product bezels, offering a comprehensive toolkit. By providing updated Sketch and soon‑to‑come Figma resources, Apple equips designers to create polished, platform‑consistent apps faster, reinforcing its push for unified aesthetics across the ecosystem. This streamlined workflow reduces design friction and accelerates release cycles for developers worldwide.
