Xreal has announced official pricing for its Android XR smart glasses, the Aura. The device starts at $1,279 for the 12/256GB variant, with a 16/512GB version available for $1,499. Early reservation programs remain active, and the company aims to ship before the holidays.
Consumers who made a paid reservation—either the $99 Launch Credit or the $199 Founder Priority Pass—can complete their purchase to secure priority fulfillment. Founder Priority Pass holders qualify for an individually numbered Founder's Edition if they complete their purchase by October 17. The reservation program is open to buyers in the U.S., Canada, Japan, and Korea.
The Aura features Google's Android XR and Qualcomm's Snapdragon Reality Elite, weighing just 95g with a 70-degree field of view. It supports Fox Sports, Amazon MGM Studios' Project Hail Mary: Journey Among the Stars, and Fallout: Factions, alongside full Play Store access.
CEO Chi Xu confirmed reservations surpassed 10,000 units, with two packages selling out. The final price was promised to be no more than $1,500 before tax, and the $199 Priority Deposit program is still active for interested buyers.
