TCL is finally bringing its eye-friendly NXTPAPER technology to the US with the NXTPAPER 70 Pro launching next month. The phone features a matte glass display that eliminates glare and fingerprints while offering four color modes including a paper-like reading experience. This addresses common complaints about modern OLED screens flickering and being difficult to use in sunlight.

Unlike previous NXTPAPER models that compromised on hardware, the 70 Pro packs flagship-level specs including a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, 5,200mAh battery, and up to 512GB storage. The 50MP main camera and 32MP front camera round out the capable camera system. TCL claims the Max Ink Mode can deliver seven days of battery life for reading and 26 days on standby.

The NXTPAPER 70 Pro costs €299-€359 in Europe, suggesting a US price around $399-499 when it launches in April 2026. For users sensitive to PWM flicker, the DC dimming technology and blue light filtering provide a truly comfortable viewing experience that TCL says meets multiple eye-care certifications.
