Samsung may add S26 AI tools to Galaxy S25 via June patch

Samsung's June security patch may back‑port two AI utilities that debuted on the Galaxy S26 to the still‑fresh S25 lineup. Leaked by analyst Tarun Vats on SamMobile, the update could enable Priority notifications and Summarize notifications, features that sort urgent alerts and condense long messages. One UI 8.5 already reached older S24 and S23 devices earlier this month.

One UI 8.5 rolled out to two‑year‑old flagships in May, bringing AI call screening and enhanced image editing, but omitted the S26‑only AI suite. Users quickly asked whether the fingerprint‑accuracy tweak present on the S26 would also land on the S25, and Vats hinted it might. No confirmation exists for similar back‑ports to the S24. It also promises smoother handoff between messaging and camera apps.

If Samsung pushes the Priority and Summarize modules next week, S25 owners will finally see the same notification hierarchy that makes the S26 feel more proactive. The move would signal Samsung's willingness to extend premium AI experiences across its recent flagships rather than locking them behind newer hardware. Users will notice faster inbox triage.
