Pixel 10 Graphics Issues Persist in March Update

Google released its March 2026 security patch for Pixel devices, continuing efforts to resolve persistent graphics issues affecting the Pixel 10 series. The update, version vCP1A.260305.016, addresses long-standing problems that date back to late last year when Google first committed to fixing GPU performance problems.

The patch targets specific issues including occasional screen freezes, "fuzzy" display behavior, and system crashes. Google also fixed a background blur problem after accessing All Apps and improved GPU performance. Additional corrections address UI freezes, device crashes during startup, incorrectly reported battery status with wireless charging, and camera stability issues.

Despite previous fixes in January, the problems persist for Pixel 10 users, who continue to report lag and freezing during gaming sessions. While the Tensor G5 chip runs cooler than its predecessor, it still lacks performance gains in high-end gaming applications, leaving Google to continue troubleshooting its flagship smartphone lineup.
